Vit et travaille en France depuis 1987.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les beaux-arts \u00e0 Taiwan avant de venir \u00e0 Paris. \u00c9l\u00e8ve de l&rsquo;atelier Delahaye, \u00e9cole nationale des beaux-arts de Paris et de l&rsquo;atelier Signori, \u00e9cole des arts d\u00e9coratifs. Le caract\u00e8re linaire de ses sculptures fait ressortir du corps le squelette. La rugosit\u00e9, la rouille, les coupes brutales du m\u00e9tal construisent une beaut\u00e9 primitive.&nbsp;\u2028Avec ce corps humain abstrait a d\u00e9but\u00e9 une d\u00e9marche artistique pleine d\u2019humour, enrichie de philosophie asiatique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Julio Gonz\u00e1lez, Joan Mir\u00f3, Alberto Giacometti ainsi que l\u2019art primitif africain ont eu une influence importante sur sa pratique. Mais plus concr\u00e8tement ce sont Jacques Delahaye, son professeur aux Beaux-Arts de Paris ainsi que Ilio Signori, son professeur aux Arts-D\u00e9co, qui en ont \u00e9clairci la direction alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait un jeune \u00e9l\u00e8ve pris dans le brouillard du d\u00e9calage culturel au d\u00e9but de ses \u00e9tudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Au fil du temps, Chung-Pei Wang s\u2019est inspir\u00e9 de l\u2019art de la calligraphie chinoise : contr\u00f4le de l\u2019encre, force du trait et part laiss\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;impr\u00e9vu.
